Apple Seeds Second Beta of watchOS 9.2 to Developers

Apple today released the second beta of its upcoming watchOS 9.2 update to developers for testing purposes, with the new beta being released a week after the first watchOS 9.2 beta.

To install the new ‌watchOS 9.2 update, developers need to download a configuration file from the Apple Dev Center.

Once installed, “watchOS 9.2” can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on your iPhone by going to General > Software Update. To update to the new software, the Apple Watch needs to have 50 percent battery life, it needs to be on a charger, and it needs to be within range of the ‌‌‌iPhone‌‌‌ it’s paired with.

watchOS 9.2 introduces support for the new Home app architecture, which has also been added to iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, and macOS Ventura. No other Apple Watch-specific features have yet been discovered.
