In a recent software update, HomePod and HomePod mini gained support for Siri in Swedish, Norwegian, and Finnish. HomePods still doesn’t support Danish, but a report earlier this year suggested the language is in beta.

HomePod mini was first released in October 2020 and is now available in 20 countries including the US, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands , New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom.

Apple last year launched the HomePod mini in yellow, orange and blue, as well as space gray and white. In August, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman claimed that Apple was considering an updated version of the $99 smart speaker in the future, but he didn’t provide a specific timeline or details about potential new features.

Apple discontinued the full-size HomePod in March 2021.
