iOS 16 Installed on Almost 70% of iPhones Nearly 100 Days After Launch

Mixpanel, a third-party analytics website, reports that iOS 16 is installed on nearly 70% of compatible devices as the update’s 100-day anniversary approaches.

On September 12, 2022, iOS 16 was made available to the general public. At first, iOS 16 performed better than iOS 15 did in terms of how quickly users upgraded their iPhones to the latest version. iOS 16 is the latest operating system that Apple has not yet released adoption figures for.
Mixpanel says that 68.90% of devices have iOS 16, 24.82% have iOS 15, and about 7% of iPhones have older operating systems. Since its September release, iOS 16 has received multiple updates to fix bugs that had previously discouraged some users from updating.
Apple Music Sing, Advanced Data Protection, new Lock Screen widgets, new options for the always-on display on the iPhone 14 Pro, and more are among the many new features that are expected to be made available to iPhone users with the release of iOS 16.2 later this month.
