Samsung Galaxy S22 needs 50 million RGBW sensors: Huawei P8 has used it

According to Phone Arena reports, Samsung will release two new products, Galaxy Z Flip3 and Galaxy Z Fold3 this month.

The two flagships of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3 will not be the best camera phones on the market. The next generation of camera phones will be the Galaxy S22, the next-generation new product of the Galaxy S series.

According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S22 will be equipped with a 50-megapixel RGBW sensor. The Huawei P8 has used an RGBW sensor before.

The so-called RGBW is to add a white filter in addition to the three colors of red, blue, and green to form four colors, and then calculate.

We know that each of the red, blue and green filters will filter out part of the light, which reduces the brightness, because the light loss is more.

And adding a white filter, white will not filter the light, the cast filter will irradiate more light on the CMOS, which increases the brightness.

As the brightness increases, the noise in low-light environments is reduced, thereby improving the performance of night scenes.

In addition, as the flagship model in 2022, the Galaxy S22 series will be the first to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 895 flagship processor.

This chip is expected to be officially unveiled at the end of this year, and related terminals may meet with consumers before 2022.
