At present, Huawei’s 66W super-fast charging GaN gallium nitride multi-port charger has been officially launched, with a retail price of CNY399 and a starting price of CNY379.
According to reports, Huawei’s 66W GaN charger is equipped with two USB-A interfaces and one Type-C interface. It should be noted that the C port is connected to the A port to avoid simultaneous use.
In terms of parameters, the orange USB-A1 port supports Huawei’s proprietary super fast charge protocol, with a maximum output power of 66W, and supports 5V 3A, 10V 4A, 11V 6A multiple gears.
The orange Type-C port supports a maximum output of 20V 3.25A and a power of 65W. It is compatible with multiple protocols such as PD3.0, PPS, SCP, and FCP, and can charge laptops, tablets, and other devices.
The purple USB-A2 port provides 5V 2A, 5V 4A, 10V 2.25A multiple gears, and the maximum output power is 22.5W.
It is reported that the orange USB-A1 output interface supports 66W, 40W Huawei Super Fast Charge, with the voltage required for Huawei Super Fast Charge in two gears of 11V6A / 10V4A, which can provide 66W full blood for Mate40 Pro, Mate40 Pro+, Mate40 RS and other models Super fast charging.
In terms of safety, the charger provides 8-fold protection, including short-circuit protection, electromagnetic field protection, over-current protection, lightning protection, over-temperature protection, and under-voltage protection.
In terms of overall appearance, Huawei’s 66W GaN charger adopts a pure white design, the pins are fixed and cannot be folded, the measurements are 31.0mm × 31.0mm × 62.0mm, and the weight is 110g.
