Xiaomi Mi 12 real-life image is coming! Does it beyond your imagination?

According to the message that we got, the Xiaomi Mi 12 real-life image has been shared on Weibo by a digital blogger along with some supposed specs for the future flagship device. Although Xiaomi’s PR chief Wang Hua has already made dismissive remarks about the purported leak, stating something on the lines that if it is real he will eat it, it’s still worth taking a closer look at the details and image offered up by the Weibo user.

The blogger delivers a list of some of the supposed Mi 12 specs, including the aforementioned Snapdragon 895 processor. Along with that, there is mention of a display with adaptive refresh rate technology (1-120 Hz), which has been alluded to in connection with the Xiaomi Mi 12 before. Apparently the Mi 11 successor will also have a curved screen and come with an under-display camera at the front.

The Mi 12 real-life image shows a smartphone from the rear, with focus being laid on the camera arrangement. The setup is much different to that of the regular Xiaomi Mi 11, with a curved-edge rectangular housing containing the necessary sensors and the revelatory words “5x zoom”, “AI camera”, and “telephoto zoom” also visible. This already signposts a potential step-up for the Xiaomi Mi 12, as the regular Mi 11 doesn’t have a telephoto camera.

The leaker of the photo also mentions a main sensor of 192 MP for the Mi 12. This fits in well with the few rumors and leaks that have started appearing about the Xiaomi Mi 12 devices, although a sensor of up to 200 MP has also been suggested. The image may or may not be the future Mi 12, and it has been opined that the device in this photo could actually be the soon-to-be-released Xiaomi Mi CC11, which might hit the global market as the Xiaomi Mi Note 11.
