Nubia Z40 Pro: Price and all details you wanna know are all here!

On the Nubia Z40 Pro, the new flagship of the humanities just released by Nubia a while ago, in addition to the regular version, this time Nubia also brought a joint limited edition with Tencent’s top animation IP “Under One Person”. This cross-border cooperation has a distinctive trend, and also brings young users and fans a more interesting choice.

Nubia has revealed the Z40 Pro in China, a smartphone that it has been teasing for over a week on Weibo. As previous teasers had revealed, the Z40 Pro has a squared-off design like the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Also, the former relies on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, one of two SoCs in which Samsung offers the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Additionally, the Z40 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that resolves at 1080p with a 144 Hz refresh rate.

While those are standard flagship specifications for 2022, the Z40 Pro is the first smartphone with the Sony IMX787, a 64 MP sensor that has a 35 mm equivalent lens and a 1/1.3-inch optical format. Moreover, the Z40 Pro has a 50 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, an 8 MP telephoto camera and a 16 MP front-facing camera that sits beneath a centred hole-punch in the device’s large display.

Furthermore, the Z40 Pro Gravity Edition supports magnetic wireless charging, mirroring recent iPhones. According to Nubia, the Gravity Edition can recharge its 4,600 mAh battery at up to 66 W. By contrast, the standard Z40 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery that it can recharge at 80 W via a wired connection.

The Z40 Pro will start at CNY 3,399 (~US$537) with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. In comparison, Nubia will sell the Gravity Edition for CNY 4,299 (~US$679), which starts with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Incidentally, Nubia has created 512 GB and 1 TB memory configurations, plus ones with 16 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, Nubia has not confirmed if or when it will launch the Z40 Pro outside its home market.
