On June 9th, some netizens left a message on Weibo of Zhang Guoquan who is the director of the system software department of Xiaomi’s mobile phone, asking how are MIUI 13 prepared?
Zhang Guoquan replied that it will definitely not let everyone down.
Xiaomi is currently pushing the MIUI 12.5 update for the old models one after another. A batch of old models such as Redmi K30 5G and Redmi K30S Extreme Edition can already experience the new MIUI 12.5 system. MIUI 13 is expected to meet with you later.
It was previously revealed that MIUI 13 will be released this month, and its compatible models include Mi 9 series, Mi 10 series, Mi MIX FOLD, and many other products.
However, this news was quickly denied by Wang Hua, the Public Relations Department of Xiaomi Group, which seems to imply that MIUI 13 will not be released soon.
It is worth noting that Xiaomi previously revealed that the tablet system will be the focus of MIUI’s work this year, indicating that MIUI will deeply adapt to tablet computers.
We know that Xiaomi will launch new tablet PCs in the second half of this year, and the possibility of MIUI 13 on the same stage will not be ruled out.
