Throw away your Apple Homekit and embrace Google smart home! It is really worthwhile

Today I will share the experience of Google Smart Home

1. Google Wifi-3 pack

Google’s smart homes are all configured through the google home app on the mobile phone, which is very simple and convenient.

Just make sure that the Ethernet port of the main router is connected to the modem, and the network is connected.

The other two access point devices can be placed anywhere in the house, I put one on each floor, and the network signal is particularly good

2. Google Hub and Google Nest

Google’s smart voice terminal is very convenient to use with network monitoring and doorbells. It can control the opening and closing of the first floor door in the master bedroom on the third floor.

You can talk to visitors directly through Google Hub. As for the smart voice function, it is better than Siri

3. Yale door lock and Nest Hello

Yale door lock, digital password to open the door, you can remotely control the door lock switch through google home, email or phone to remind the door is not locked, it helped me a lot.

The Nest Hello smart doorbell can recognize the facial features of the person waiting at the door or the person ringing the doorbell.

And I can talk to people in the building through the Nest Hub,

4. Nest Cameras

The three indoor cameras are very textured. High-definition camera, night shooting is also very clear, if you purchase the Nest Aware service, you can also record motion and sound within 30 days, because the camera’s trigger mechanism is event triggered.

So don’t worry about the cumbersome video clips, only if there are real objects moving, or there is sound nearby will be recorded.

I woke up in the morning and found that the garage camera recorded the chat of the isolated neighbor at the door of my garage.

Finally, let’s talk about Google Home. The app page is simple in design, easy to operate, and intuitive to control all devices.

And Google Home can be connected to third-party smart home devices, such as the temperature regulator Ecobee in our building, and the temperature can be adjusted through the phone after the connection is completed.
