According to a latest report from Bloomberg, Apple is developing an improved version of the iPad mini, which will be the first design update for the iPad mini series in 6 years.
Apple’s new 2021 iPad Mini will usher in a major revision, similar in appearance to the iPad Air 4, with a square frame appearance and a narrow frame design on the screen.
The screen size of the iPad Mini 6 will be increased from 7.9 inches to 8.4 inches to 9 inches. The size of the body is similar to the previous generation. Considering the cost issue, the iPad mini 6 will not be equipped with mini-LED screen technology!
The screen part will continue to use Liquid Retina display LCD screen
The design of full-screen narrow bezel and removal of the physical Home button, will not use Face ID facial recognition, can be regarded as a mini iPad Air 4
Will still be able to use the physical Touch ID, mainly to integrate the Touch ID fingerprint recognition function into the top power button
