Huawei P50 series launch event official live stream: stay tuned for all the highlights here!

The Huawei P50 series launch conference will be held today, finally!

The Huawei P50 series launch event live stream will be available on this website:

According to previous revelations and Huawei’s official news, the Huawei P50 series will focus on imaging functions. In terms of configuration, there will be 4G and 5G versions, equipped with Snapdragon and Kirin processors, respectively, and they will install the Harmony OS 2.0 system.

As Huawei’s belated flagship machine, the P50 series is really highly anticipated. And as the launch conference approaches, news on its price is also ready to come out.

In terms of imaging, we have no doubt that its strength will be very hardcore.

Even Huawei officially announced that the P50 series will once again surpass itself in the imaging field, and will release an industry-first new mobile imaging technology, opening a new era of mobile imaging.

The camera module of the Huawei P50 series is composed of two separate circular camera modules on the top and bottom, with three cameras on the top and the main camera and flash on the bottom.

Huawei P50 Pro is a four-camera combination with specifications of IMX800+OV64A+5x periscope+new ToF sensor. The main camera IMX800 is the largest sensor in Sony’s history. It has a 1/1.18-inch ultra-large size, which not only performs well in taking pictures, it also means a major improvement in its night shooting ability.

Huawei P50 will use a three-camera solution, in which the main camera uses the latest upgraded IMX707 sensor, and is also equipped with an IMX600 lens, which should be an ultra-wide angle, and also has a 3x telephoto lens.

In addition, as usual, Huawei’s flagship has been cooperating with Leica. It is reported that Leica will continue to “renew the front edge” with Huawei this time and equip Huawei P50 series lenses with Leica adjustments.

This time, the Leica calibration and Sony’s large sensor blessing owned by the Huawei P50 series are expected to rank first in the DXO rankings again.

In terms of appearance, the Huawei P50 series will make major changes, abandon the previous “pill-style” hole-digging screen, and instead use a centered single-dot screen.

In terms of the size, there is a big difference between P50 and P50 Pro. According to previous reports, Huawei P50 has a smaller screen and body than P50 Pro. It uses a 6.3-inch centered single-hole screen, fingerprints under the screen, and a metal middle frame.

As for the Pro version, there is no news yet, but it is certain that the overall body will be larger. It is known that the Huawei P50 series is available in at least two colors of black and gold, and it has always been Huawei’s practice to support IP68 waterproof and dustproof.

Regarding the screen, we haven’t got much news. According to the current situation, Huawei P50 should adopt a 90HZ refresh rate, while the Pro version may have a high refresh rate of 120HZ.

According to reports, the standard version of P50 will all use Visionox’s screens, P50 Pro will use BOE and Visionox’s screens, and the super-large P50 Pro+ will all use BOE’s latest technology screens. It is a self-developed hexagonal crystal screen arrangement, which is compatible with the arrangement of diamonds that is similar to LG.

Whether the BOE screen on the P50 series will support an adaptive refresh rate, which will fully fill the specifications at a time, is a major attraction.

In terms of configuration, the standard version of Huawei P50 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, which is a 4G version, while the Pro version may be equipped with a Kirin 9000 5G processor.

One of the reasons for the postponement of the P50 series is the lack of chips. If only the Kirin 9000 series chips are in stock, they will soon fall into a situation where production cannot be sustained. Therefore, in the P50 series, Huawei will continue to introduce Qualcomm chips, a customized 4G version of Snapdragon 888.

In terms of battery life, Huawei P50 will have a built-in 4000mAh battery that supports 67w super fast charging. The Pro version will be equipped with a 4500mAh battery, and it supports 67w wired fast charging and 50w wireless fast charging, and the Pro+ version will support 100w wired fast charging.

In terms of the system, the whole system will run the Harmony 2.0 system. Compared with the current Harmony system, new features and functions exclusive to the P50 series will be added, which will bring a fresher and more powerful experience.

In terms of price, considering the high configuration of Huawei’s flagship P50 series, it also uses a lot of new technologies. Compared with the P40 series, the price will definitely increase to a certain extent.

According to the news, the 8G+128G version is at least 4388 yuan, while the 5G version is more expensive. The 12G+512G Huawei P50 Pro+ is probably about to break 10,000.

Earlier, the media broke the news that the P50 series will be stocked at the level of 3 million to 4 million units this year, but the data has not been officially confirmed by Huawei.

For more details, let us wait for the official launch of Huawei P50 series on July 29.
