In the past two years, the popularity of e-sports has continued to rise. E-sports has not only become the official event of the Asian Games, but also brought the mobile game field into flame.
And many mobile game masterpieces were born. In order to improve consumers’ better gaming experience, gaming phones were born.
With the release of the Snapdragon 888 flagship processor, a new generation of powerful gaming phones is on the way.
Today, according to media wccftech, ASUS ROG gaming phone 5 is currently appearing on the Geekbench sub-platform.
According to the test information graph, the ROG gaming phone 5 has a single-core score of 1131 and a multi-core score of 3729. Compared with the previous Geekbench running score of Xiaomi Mi 11, the two models are equally comparable.
It is worth mentioning that, given that ROG gaming phone 5 is still an engineering machine, after ASUS is officially released, I believe that there will be a lot of room for improvement in the running score of this phone.
In addition, ROG gaming phone 5 is not only equipped with the Snapdragon 888 flagship processor, but also with 16GB of memory, which is a powerful configuration.
According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, ASUS’s new flagship phone has a battery capacity of 6000mAh and uses a dual-cell solution. It is currently the model with the largest battery capacity in the Snapdragon 888 flagship camp.
Based on the previous news, the machine uses a 6.78-inch OLED full screen, the overall size is 172.83mm×77.25mm×10.29mm, and supports 65W wired fast charging.
It is worth noting that before the ROG official release preheating poster seems to suggest the release time of ROG gaming phone 5.
The poster shows the star connection diagram of Aries, and the time belonging to Aries is from March 21st to April 19th. Therefore, ROG game phone 5 will have a high probability of meeting the public during this time period, which is worth looking forward to.

Gaming phone with no 3.5 mm jack 🙁
asus not Chinese.They are Taiwanese
Because all now become wireless
tf happened to the rog phone 4
Chinese here. Doesn’t really have anything to do with religion per se, it’s mainly because the word in Chinese for ‘four’ is also the same word/pronunciation for ‘death’. So it’s an unlucky number.
Basically it’s the Chinese version of the western unlucky number ’13’.
1. The 1080 display is good enough to not kill battery life
2. It’s not confirmed idiot and will most likely have 6e
It has 3.5 port look DXO mark
According to latest news a few hours ago, this Rog 5 will bring back the audio jack 3.5m!!!! Hail to the King Asus!

Actually, on a 7″, 1920×1080 screen with a pixel density of 314 ppi (this phone has a ppi of 380, and a resolution of 2340×1080), individual pixels are indistinguishable by an average person’s (20/20) vision at 1ft (about 30cm) away from the screen. Therefore as long as you’re not squinting at the screen from 20cm away or you have perfect vision, you shouldn’t really be able to tell the difference.

Also, a higher resolution needs more power, therefore shorter battery life, and you don’t want to be gaming while charging, as long as you’re using bypass charging which is kind of useless if you actually want to charge your phone and not have it just stay on the same percentage, as it creates a lot of excess heat which degrades the battery much faster. its a balancing act with tech and I can’t blame Asus for putting a 1080p display on this device, as gamers look for higher refresh rates instead of resolution anyway, look at the amount of affordable 144/165hz 1080p 24″ monitors on the market that are marketed towards gamers, and these have an even lower pixel density, at about 90-100ppi as the pixels are more spread out across the screen, granted you do view a monitor further away then you do your phone, but my point still stands.
The ROG phone 5 will have a headphone jack and the DAC from the V60 ThinQ.
it would be the most beautiful phone ever in existence, i would buy it just for the color, im also wondering what kind of cases they would come up with
What? Gaming is media guy. I was unaware that because it’s a “gaming” phone only gaming media will work on it.
Care to explain how they stop all other media from working and only allow gaming?
I was searching for this comment exactly. It’ll look beautiful.
Noob asus use pop up camera for full screen nobody need that trash front cam waste of screen
I was hoping that it would finally come to Verizon
This was spotted on Geekbench saying it had 16gb RAM, now they say it is going to have 18GB RAM (as if 16 was not enough)
Rumours say i will have 3.5mm Headphone Jack
The basic version will be priced at Rs 54,999 in India.
