Due to new renders, we can know the Motorola Edge 20 series’ new design

According to the news, the Motorola is said to follow the Edge S Android smartphone up with a new 20 sub-series in the near future. These devices may not be complete flagships, but rather mid-rangers spiced up with 108MP sensors as main cameras. A new set of rendered images purports to confirm the number of additional lenses that will join them on each variant, as well as some extra details about each one.

The Edge 20 has appeared in the same form, and its new ones match these images exactly. It now seems its Pro counterpart will look a lot like it, except that 1 of its 3 rear camera cut-outs may be square rather than round. This might be due to an 8MP 5x zoom spec, although nothing is certain yet.

The Edge 20 Lite, on the other hand, has a different kind of main camera hump, one that most evinces the Xiaomi Mi 11, to be exact. It leaves space for 1 very small lens alongside 2 larger ones, which might support earlier rumors of a 2MP macro camera for this entry-level model.

The new leak also shows that each Edge 20 variant will have 2 rear-panel finishes each: “Lagoon Green“ or “Electric Graphite” in the Lite; “Frosted Gray“ or “Frosted White“ in the 20 and “Midnight Blue“ or “Blue” in the 20 Pro.

Eventually, this new leak also includes a spec breakdown that mostly matches others posted about the phones earlier. Whereas, there is 1 interesting deviation: 144Hz refresh rates for the Edge 20 and 20 Pro’s FHD+ displays are mentioned, whereas 120Hz was the consensus among previous leaks.

The Lite, whereas, remains provisionally stuck at 90Hz. Motorola now has until August 5, 2021 to confirm or deny this new claim.
