Reports reveal that Google is developing their first foldable smartphone from the Google Pixel Fold series, and if realized then the name of this smartphone will be called the Google Pixel Fold.
The developers of Google Pixel estimate that the launch of this smartphone will be released in about a year or two, and this smartphone will be the result of a collaboration between the American company Google and South Korea’s Samsung.
Google Pixel is partnering with South Korean electronics giant Samsung, because Samsung has today’s most advanced display technology on smartphones, TVs and computer monitors.
The disclosure of the planned launch of the Google Pixel Fold or Google Pixel Fold has received appreciation from lovers of the Google Pixel smartphone, fans say that this is a breakthrough in the smartphone era.
Google Pixel also confirmed that Samsung will provide screens for the Google Pixel with “Ultra-Thin Glass” or Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) technology.
Google has also confirmed that Samsung is making this type of screen so that it can be used by the Google Pixel Fold, and it is a glass screen that has so far been very exclusive to all types of smartphones.
This type of UTG screen is only owned by Samsung, but Samsung has decided to sell the glass screen to Google and other companies that are interested in using it.
This is just part of the company’s plans to expand its business into foldable and usable screens starting this year, Samsung management said.
Samsung says this ultra-thin glass display is manufactured using an extensive process to achieve increased flexibility and durability compared to traditional polyimides.
So far, the developer hasn’t published much about the exact specifications of the Google Pixel folding phone, only just conveying plans for the development and use of Samsung’s UTG screen, but it is believed that Google will improve all the features of the last Google Pixel series.
