According to a foreign media “MacRumors” report, some people recently claimed to have obtained news from the supply chain on Weibo and exposed the unreleased MacBook Pro.
It can be seen from the photo that the frame of the MacBook Pro narrows, the screen expands to the extreme edge, and the “notch” added from the iPhone X appears at the top of the screen.
It is reported that this is to expand the laptop’s full-screen ratio, with a high-quality “FaceTime lens” that is expected to reach 1080p, and a “True Tone sensor” that automatically detects the brightness of the environment.
Although notch is not used to support Face ID face unlocking, and most fans seem to dislike “notch”, due to the user interface design of macOS, there is often a blank design in the middle of the upper menu bar.
The left side is for the opened application menu, and the right side is the time, input status bar, etc. Therefore, compared to the iPhone, notch obstructs the laptop’s visual experience should be less.
