Redmi K60 series is expected to be equipped with Snapdragon 8 series SoC, support 30W wireless charging

The Redmi K60 series is said to be the next product from the Chinese smartphone company. Now, a Chinese tipster has suggested some specifications of the upcoming Redmi K60 series smartphones. It is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Xiaomi is expected to offer two charging capabilities for the phone – 67W wired charging + 30W wireless charging and 120W wired charging + 30W wireless charging. The Redmi K60 model is expected to feature a 2K display with a center-aligned punch-hole display cutout.

The Tipster digital chat station on Chinese microblogging site Weibo has suggested the alleged specifications of the Redmi K60 series smartphones. According to the leak, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8-series chipset. There may be two variants with different charging capacities. One variant of the Redmi K60 series smartphones is said to have 67W wired and 30W wireless charging capabilities, while the other variant could offer 120W wired and 30W wireless charging support.

The Redmi K60 series is expected to succeed the Redmi K50 series. Recently, details of the Redmi K60 series were leaked online. According to the leak, the phone will feature a punch-hole display design and the display will offer 2K resolution. The upcoming model is also said to offer 100W charging support.

They are said to come with a 50-megapixel primary rear camera sensor and could pack an in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication.​​​ According to reports, the Redmi K60 model will feature a Sony IMX766 sensor. Xiaomi is expected to implement a feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island on upcoming devices. Lu Weibing, the company’s China president, had earlier asked users if they wanted to see a “smart island” feature on Xiaomi phones.

However, Xiaomi officials have not confirmed any details about the Redmi K60 series, so these details should be carefully considered.
