In the Android 12 developer preview, you can also see that Google has added a new feature to synchronize audio and vibration feedback (audio-coupled haptic feedback through the phone’s vibrator). This is similar to Sony’s dynamic vibration function, which allows the vibration of the mobile phone to be synchronized with the audio, bringing a more immersive gaming experience. It can also be applied to mobile phone notifications, allowing users to know what notifications are through the vibration frequency. According to Burke, this will bring more modern, easier-to-use, and more useful notification functions, while also optimizing system animations and transitions will become smoother.

In Android 12, Google’s Project Mainline will use the new ART to allow them to push important security and other content updates directly through the Play Store, reducing the time users need to wait for a complete system update. Other new features of Android 12 include applications for “rich content insertion”, which allows users to paste various content from the clipboard, keyboard, or even drag directly; apps that still do not support HEAC encoding can also be changed Decoding with AVC, etc.

The Android system is not limited to mobile phone use, and Google also revealed that this time the Android 12 update will involve the part of Android TV. Since last year’s Android 11 internally has come as “Red Velvet Cake,” in this year, Android 12 is spontaneously coming with a name beginning with the letter S. From XDA Developers, the coming Android release’s source codes, when it’s publicly unveiled later this year, is going to come with the prefixes “sc.” For itself, the prefixes could refer to anything; whereas, Android 11 has come with the prefixes “rvc,” confirming the Red Velvet Cake name. There is no doubt, “sc” mean Android 12’s name that inside the Google.
