The official app starts to support Android 12, and Samsung hints that One UI 4.0 will be released soon

In July, a community manager from Samsung Korea revealed the news that “Galaxy S21 series One UI 4 Beta is coming soon”, but then there was no news.

Until recently, SamMobile discovered that Samsung had launched the One Hand Operation+ Gesture App v4.7.31 version on its Galaxy Store, which already supports Android 12.

It is reported that this APP update mainly fixes multiple bugs to improve stability. The minimum distance of the long swipe gesture can also be modified according to usage habits.

Earlier, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G mobile phone’s running score data appeared on the website. According to its data, the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G in this test is running the Android 12 system.

This is just in line with the news that the One UI 4.0 test will be launched in September.

Two weeks ago, Android 12 launched the Beta 4 version, the API has been basically determined, and developers can start testing compatibility.

Subsequently, Google released a minor version of Android 12 Beta 4.1 for repair, and finally Android 12 began to stabilize.

One UI 4.0 developed on the basis of Android 12 will provide some major UI changes, including updated icons and colors, Material You elements, and so on.

It may also optimize performance and improve apps such as Samsung Knox and Samsung Notes.
