According to leaked info, Oppo Reno6 Pro turns to use a Dimensity 1200

It’s hard to understand exactly what Oppo is doing with its Reno series of mid-range and upper-midrange devices these days, churning out “new” models multiple times a year that are incredibly similar to their predecessors in almost all respects, and sometimes even inferior in some ways.

Our befuddlement at the situation obviously isn’t stopping the company from continuing its strategy, and thus we already have a rumor detailing the main specs of the Reno6 Pro, even though the Reno5 Pro only arrived in stores this January.

The Reno6 Pro is supposedly going to have a 6.55″ 1080×2400 90Hz AMOLED screen with a top-left hole-punch cutout for a 32 MP selfie camera, a quad rear camera setup headlined by a 64 MP main sensor, and a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.

If those specs look familiar, that is right. Everything but the battery capacity (up from 4,350 mAh) is identical to the Reno5 Pro.

The Reno5 Pro has the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+, while the Reno6 Pro is rumored to get the Dimensity 1200, currently MediaTek’s most premium offering.
