Black Shark the company which is known for offering a wide range of gaming smartphones in the home country China has recently expanded its portfolio. The company has added two new gaming phones called the Black Shark 5 Pro and Black Shark 5. The newly launched smartphones come with a plethora of features including the SharkEye RGB light effect at the rear panel, Snapdragon chipset, massive battery, and more. Let’s have a closer look at the price and specifications of the newly launched gaming smartphones.

The Black Shark 5 is launched with a starting price of  $440 for the 8GB +128GB storage model. While the 12GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB storage models will be up for grabs at $472 and $518 respectively.

On the other hand, the Black Shark 5 Pro comes with $660  for the 8GB + 256GB storage and the 12GB + 256GB storage is up for grabs at $738 . The top-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage will be available for sale at $863.

The Black Shark 5 and Black Shark 5 Pro both the phones offer a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The gaming smartphone makes use of a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel that supports HDR10+ and 1.07 billion colors to deliver a better gaming experience. Moreover, the display also comes with certification for SGS Blu-ray along with a multi-finger touch response delay of 8.3ms.

The Black Shark 5 Pro draws power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, clubbed with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB USF 3.1 + SSD storage. While, the vanilla variant comes equipped with the Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Both the gaming handsets come with a triple rear camera setup with the combination of 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 primary camera sensor + 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP Samsung S5K5E9 telephoto sensor along with an LED flash.
