It is reported that this phone will be defined as MIX 4 by Xiaomi. Recently, a well-known blogger revealed that it is 100% certain that the phone will be equipped with under-screen camera technology, which will completely hide the front camera below the screen. The border control is very good, almost realizing the effect of equal width on four sides.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will use the third or fourth generation of Xiaomi’s under-screen camera technology, which can basically perfectly balance the needs of the screen and the front camera.
Xiaomi’s third-generation under-screen camera technology has been mass-produced as early as August last year. It adopts a new self-developed pixel arrangement and a redesigned pixel drive circuit, which can make the light transmittance of the front part of the screen get further improved.
At the same time, Xiaomi has also developed a set of exclusive camera optimization algorithms for the more complex light path of the under-screen camera, which can make the shooting effect of the under-screen camera basically the same as that of the conventional front shot, which effectively improves the use effect of the off-screen front shot.
Regrettably, because the current under-screen proactive technology is still more complex, Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 may not be able to get 2K+ resolution, but it will be equipped with a specially customized high-resolution screen, which is still better than the general 1080P that can have a better display effect.
