According to the latest news that we got, friends, Xiaomi is preparing to release the next-gen mid-range phone. Some details of that device, possibly the Redmi Note 11, have now surfaced and will thrill fans of the series who have high expectations for the phone’s endurance metrics.
Xiaomi’s release schedule for the Redmi Note series is a bit scatter-brained. The company released both the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 8 in 2019. Since then, however, the company has taken to release the main lineup and then a refresh later in the year, as seen with the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 5G lines this year. Either way, fans have their sights set on the Redmi Note 11, and a new leak has now provided some early details.
According to the latest message, Xiaomi is gearing up to release a new Redmi device. That phone is said to be in the “thousand CNY” price range(about $180). That falls in nicely with the Redmi Note series, which indicates that the device in question could be the next-gen Redmi Note—the Redmi Note 11.
This phone will offer both 67 W charging and a 5100 mAh battery. This isn’t the first time word of 67 W charging on a Xiaomi budget phone has surfaced, as the source, a few weeks ago, already tipped the next-gen Redmi Note to adopt the Mi 11’s 67 W charging. It’s important to note that the Chinese Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G—the one with a Dimensity 1100—already offers 67 W charging. We expect it to carry over to the Redmi Note 11 when it’s released.
The 67 W charging, in addition to a big battery, could see the Redmi Note 11 become the ultimate endurance monster. Fans of the series just have to hope that Xiaomi equips the phone with an efficient chipset, preferably one from Qualcomm.
