This is how to transfer the chat history of WhatsApp from the previous phone to the new

1) Open WhatsApp.

2) Click the menu button> Settings> Dialog> Dialog Backup.

You can click Backup to instantly create a cloud backup.
You can also click Backup to Google Drive to select the backup time and frequency.
3) If you do not have a Google account, please click Add account when prompted.

4) Click on the backup method to select which network connection method to use for backup. Please note that choosing to backup via mobile data may incur additional data costs.

Google Drive backs up important information

It may take a long time to create a Cloud Drive backup for the first time. Please make sure that your phone is connected to the power supply.
You can adjust the time and frequency of the dialogue backup, the Google account used for the backup, and the connection method used for the backup at any time in the menu button> settings> dialogue> dialogue backup.
Every time a Google Drive backup is made, the new backup will overwrite the previous Google Drive backup. Users cannot choose to use an old Google Drive backup for conversation restoration.
Conversations and media files backed up to Google Drive will not be protected by WhatsApp end-to-end encryption.
