Chromecast with Google TV will gain the update with several new features

The Chromecast with Google TV will get a very essential update with some crucial improvements and new traits.

The new update with firmware version QTS1.210311.005 was spotted by a Reddit user. It weighs 166MB so it’s not that big, but the changelog reveals some interesting new features.

You will find the Advanced Video Controls setting under the Display & Sound section. It’ll give you granular control over HDR formats, resolution, refresh rate, and color formats.
